Senior Chartered Accountant – Client Relationship Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team full time at our Paraparaumu Beach office, working closely with our team of 5 accountants.

The role

You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of clients and be the person they call first. You’ll get to know their businesses, give advice that makes a real difference, and keep the work flowing on time. A team of graduates will handle the processing, so your days are spent on the good stuff.

You’ll:

  • Manage your own client list and workflow from start to finish

  • Advise clients on business performance, structuring and tax

  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns

  • Peer review the team’s work and help them grow

  • Spend plenty of time with clients, in person and on the phone

About you

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) with 5+ years in NZ public practice

  • Confident reviewing others’ work, with strong NZ tax knowledge

  • A Xero pro and a natural systems thinker

  • A great communicator who sets clear expectations and follows through
